Inter-Residence Hall Association
IRHA recently voted to reduce its paper waste and remove trays from the new Seasons Marketplace (dining center) in Maple-Willow-Larch to cut back on food and water wastes. Throughout the school year, IRHA will continue to work with the Department of Residence and ISU Dining to promote environment friendly-living throughout the residence halls. One of the items currently under consideration is a Sustainability "Learning Community" for residence hall students.
The easiest way to get involved with IRHA is to volunteer as part of your residence hall student government. By being part of your house council or hall council you can voice your opinions and make a difference.
Positions on the IRHA parliament may become open during the year, which are also a great way to get directly involved with IRHA. Keep an eye out for information regarding IRHA positions.
