The Ames North Grand Mall hosts two vibrant Farmers’ Markets throughout the summer, one outdoors and one indoors (that also continues year-round). The outdoor market takes place in the J.C. Penney parking lot of North Grand Mall on Wednesdays from 3–6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-noon. The indoor market, located next to RelaxNation inside North Grand Mall, is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sundays from noon–5 p.m. These weekly markets are a wonderful way to shop for unique, locally made products.
