DESCRIPTION:The City of Ames and the ISU Office of Sustainability host "Rum
 mage RAMPage” every summer. This community-wide\, second-hand sale keeps
  reusable items out of the waste stream. Rummage RAMPage repurposes useabl
 e items left on curbs during move out and lease changeovers\, and keeps th
 em out of the landfill. It works like this: People donate unwanted\, usabl
 e items to Rummage RAMPage. Non-profit agencies send volunteers to run the
  sale. Anyone can purchase items\, which are priced to sell! The agencies 
 share in any profit. The United Way of Story County serves as the financia
 l distributor of proceeds.
