Soil & Water Conservation Club

Mission:

Promote soil and water education and conservation.

Projects and efforts that support Live Green!:

SWCC has two main projects it regularly works on.  One is the publication of an annual magazine addressing water issues.  It is distributed to high school science teachers, relevant government agencies, and alumni.  The other project is the Groundwater Flow Model.  The club builds this education tool and sells it to educators around the world.  The club also demonstrates the Groundwater Flow Model for educational fairs, classes, and interested organizations.

How to Get Involved:

The best way to get connected is to attend one of the club meetings.  The meetings include guest speakers and discussions for organizing professional development and outreach activities.

Meeting Times and Places:

The club meets at 6pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month while ISU is in session, in room 3140 Agronomy Hall.
